Well, it all depends on what sort of thing you're looking for!. A comedy!? Drama!? Dark Humor!? So many possibilites!.!.!.

I've recently discovered the wonderful playscripts!.com, which allows you to search for any category and choose how many people you want in your play, etc!. It's a very nice site and I'd really reccomend it!.

Some good ones are:

Blind Date, by Samara Siskind

Controlling Interest, by Wayne S!. Rawley

"Will you please shut up!?" by Dan O'Brien

also, try searching the site for "monologues for women" or just "monologues!." There should be a link to a book called "Author's choice" or "Monologues for women!." Click on it, then go to the right and click "read sample!." There are a ton of excerpts there!. If you can't find it, just follow this link:

http://www!.playscripts!.com/playview!.php3!.!.!.

As for what you should wear, put on something nice but comfortable!. Like a pair of black dress pants or slacks and a nice blue or white blouse or nice shirt!. Be formal, but nothing too major!. If you wear heels, make sure they're not too high!. You wouldn't want to trip over yourself in the middle of your audition!!

Above all, show that you're a confident and talented actor with a lot of charisma who's willing to listen to direction and follow it!. And have fun!

Best of luck!
