As far as the validity of an actual curse I do not know, but though thespians the world over now hold to the code concerning the bloody play, it certainly did not originate as an American superstition!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it's like a lot of things -- better safe than sorry!. Just don't say the name or quote the play in a theatre!. And if you do, get someone to teach you the remedy!.
