Question: Fantasies come true for panto!?
Hello

I have chosen the song fantasies come true from avenue q as a solo song in our pantomime!. i have changed some of the words so it is more suitable for a family panto but have kept the line "fantasies come true" in the song!.!.!.do you think this would be ok!? it's sung by the princess who has just met aladdin!.
it's a lovely song and i'm hoping that the word "fantasies" would mean "dreams" or am i worrying too much!?!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Lovely choice, and good on you getting the great music of Avenue Q into a wider audience!. In your context, "fantasies" won't come across as anything sexual, and certainly not to the kids!. If the parents get hung up about, it says LOADS about them! And by the way, trust your own judgement - if you're always worrying about what the powers that be might say (whoever they think they are), then you'll always be their b***h!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
