What do you need to know (to do) to become an actor?

Question: What do you need to know (to do) to become an actor!?

I mean, like dancing, singing, acting (duh!.!.) and etc!.!.

I sing pretty cool - I hope so LOL (vocal developing teacher like 5 years ago)!.

I can definitely act, I can cry (with real tears), I can laugh, etc!.!.!. etc!.!.

I CANT DANCE :(

So is it like a -must know- thing to become an actor!?
I'm almost 16 BTW and I thing I will go to acting school auditions next week so just to be prepaired!.!.

I act as well, and I have learned that you have to become the character that you are acting out!. It makes it very convincing when you really become the character and it is usually a lot better to be comfortable with the character so that you can become them easier!. My daughters dream is to become an actress so now she is going to acting and producing school in San Francisco!. She loves it!. You can pick up classes here and there for free, study, study, study and take a lot of pictures of yourself or have someone take them for you!. As long as you can sing and act dont really worry about dancing, it is really not that important!.
1st thing to do is get as much experience as possible!!
