Do you know any drummers!? I think this scene would be ideal for the rhytmic pounding of drums, swelling and declining with MacBeth's vision!. Even something like a hand drum would work well!. (I did Poe's the Telltale Heart to drums once - very powerful)

Then, of course there is the Bell sounding near the end!. Sudden quiet, and almost whispered "I go and it is done, the bell invites me!." Cold!.

Don't use a dagger, use a fish-slice!. Then, when he says "Is this a dagger I see before me!.!.!." the audience all think, "well, no, it's a fish-slice, you mad Scots git" and then, all the way through the soliloquy you make him eat lots of deep-fried fish and chips, mars bars, frittered vegetables, etc thus playing on a clever juxtaposition between him talking about a fanciful suicide with a sharpened fish-fryer's implement and the modern Scottish method!.
