Question: I need a bit of consolation!.!.!.!?
Alright, so I'm sixteen and I auditioned for a part in a 'British Pantomime" That the community theatre group I'm in is doing!. The play is Aladdin!. So I auditioned and all that, and there were quite a few people who did, and I got a phone call today telling me that I have a 'minor part' and that I will be emailed all the information!. Now!.!.!. I know that many people didn't get a part at all, and also that being an actor requires so much rejection to finally get a part!.!.!. I just have that sinking feeling!. You all know it!. Its silly but I know that the theatre people of Answers will give me some snaps, and I'll be able to go about my business!.!.!.

Think of it as an opportunity to show them what you can do with a "minor part!." You can show them that you take it seriously, that you're easy to work with, that you come prepared, etc!. -- in other words, impress the heck out of them!.

The next time you audition, they'll remember how you stepped up in a "minor part," and they'll know that you can be trusted, that you'll work hard, and they might be more inclined to cast you in a bigger part!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

You'll have to deal with that on every audition you go to!. Get used to it!. Congratulations on your minor part!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
