Moses was Jewish!.!.!.so why not have in the background the singing of a cantor in a chanting subtle voice!. Check out Manny Potemkin!. But to really remove yourself from the other presentation try this:
face the audience in chamber theater fashion, with your focus just above their heads and visualize the scene in your eyes and expression as you speak!.!.!.let them see you addressing what you speak of and let their imaginations fill in for you!.!.!.this would be for the words of Moses!.!.!.but turn slightly when speaking as a narrator and focus to the right or left!. You pretend to be two different people - Moses and a narrator who speaks about Moses!.!.!.and the audience observes your expressions as if you were there!. Cast your voice in the same manner!. If you are quoting from a book, let that be your only prop!.!.!.but as you open the book also look up to the focus mentioned before!.!.!.then as you finish, close the book!. The technique is Chamber Theatre - not a fourth wall drama, but an oral interpretation with the scene created vocally!. Arrange your text to move from narrator to Moses and back with each segment of content!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
