Question: Strong songs that I can act individually!?

I have a project from my drama teacher, and it's due on the monday after the next! We were supposed to choose a song to act out individually and silently, and I want a strong topic to act out!. Any ideas for me!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

What do you mean by strong!? It's kind of a vague word!.!.!.!. Oh well here are a few!

-Whoops I OD'd by NOFX!. You could do something really great to this song, although it would be very sad!.

- Say it ain't so by Weezer!. A really powerful song with lots of highs and lows!.

- The World has Turned and left me here by Weezer!. This song would really be great, just listen to the lyrics and throw your own spin on them, it would be excellent!

Is it supposed to be from theatre or does the teacher care!?

I would suggest choosing a song that you identify with and if you have a choice of musical theatre vs radio just choose whatever speaks to you!. Strong is vague like your other answerer said!. Any song can be strong depending on how strongly you feel about the emotions being expressed!. That's why we shouldn't really give you suggestions!. You need to find something that really speaks to you and you will make it strong when you act it out!.
