i have to write a 24 line ballad for english class and it has to be about a story!.!.anything but something not dull and it has to have rhyming lines!. im in 10th grade if that helps!.!.any ideas!?!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Do one on a high school student who thinks that HS sucks, until she goes away to college and misses everyone, and then thinks HS was great!. So she's sad, then she's wistful!. Great ballad stuff!.

You know, spoke too soon, what I thought was a prison really a cocoon; meddling concern yearn!. It writes itself it's so easy!. And I think there's a rhyming site if you get stuck!.

um you could try to write something similar to the song "When Somebody Loved Me" by Sarah McLachan from Toy Story 2!. it's a song about when somebody loved her but over time they grew apart and she was left behind!. Ballads pretty much tell the sad story of a person!. Another good ballad is "One Song of Glory" from Rent, where you learn Rodger's back story!. I'd suggest listening to those songs to get an idea for you're own ballad!. but pretty much love, death, and loss are good topics for ballads!.
