Question: Help with a song for an audition!?
I'm auditioning for a choral ensemble tomorrow at my school and I need something to sing! I'm considered a low alto and I prefer songs from musical theatre!. The lyrics must be appropriate for school! As of now I'm considering "Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries" and maybe " Only Love"Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like musical theater too but I'm a low alto and one of the songs that I do really well is Patsy Cline's "Crazy"!. It's terrific for our range, I promise!. Judy Garland's "Get Happy" and "Trolley Song" are good, as are virtually all the female numbers from Guys and Dolls (Miss Adelaide's Lament)!. As a low alto I'm sure you're used to doing some comedic numbers like "I'm Just a Girl Who Can't Say No" and "Take Back Your Mink" (reason enough right there not to be a soprano!) but the school might not love them!. And you can always do Cole Porter's "My Heart Belongs to Daddy"!.

You're gonna have a great time! Break a leg! Www@QuestionHome@Com
