Question: What to wear to see Wicked the musical!?

My father and I are surprising my mother and driving her to Chicago for her 50th birthday!. We spent over $300 for tickets for the musical Wicked, we're not quite sure what to wear, is there a dress code!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's really up to you!. If it's a special occasion, you might want to wear a casual dress or a nice top with trousers!. Personally, when I go see a show I end up spending the entire day in the city so I usually just end up wearing jeans and a tee-shirt, and no one has ever said anything or even looked at me strangely!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!.Some people go in jeans others dress up posh with an attitude of 'la-di-da we are going to the theater'
Huge Wicked or musical fans paint their faces green or dress in pink and green like how people dress as nuns for the sound of music!.
