Question: Will this be good for my acting career!?plz help>>10 points<<!?
Alright, so if I were to take classes at KD Studio in Dallas, Texas, would it help me in my career!? I don't have to become as famous as Miley cyrus or anything, but I wamt to be able to have a long list on my resume by the time I die!. So, if I were to take acting and modeling classes would it help!? I really think I have what it takes, and I am totally dedicated! Will this open opportunities for me!? If the people there ( like the teacher ) think I am good, will they be able to help me get an agent, and if I get an agent will I have a good chance of getting some kind of roles!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you are interested in being an actor, sure, any acting class will help you get started!. I wouldn't put any money into modeling class!. Many a young person gets tricked into that!. When you finally do get booked for a modeling/print job all you need to do is be relaxed and have fun and take direction (like acting for a film only this is one frame at a time) I don't think anyone needs classes that teach you 'how to pose'!.
You can ask your teacher questions about how to go about getting an agent!. Probably the only way the teacher could help you is to possibly get you an interview with an agent she/he is familiar with!.
It sounds like you've got confidence, that's great, you'll need lots of that!. When starting out all you really need are some fantastic pictures to hand out!. Get into some acting classes, try some at local professional theatres too!. Send your headshot and resume to every agent around with a cover letter expressing your interest and enthusiasm for showbiz!. And look up a list of local casting agencies as well, if you are on file with them you can start auditioning for some pretty impressive things right away!. You never know, even if you are signed with a big powerful agent, what kind of roles you end up getting!. I know some really talented people who ended up being dropped by an agent a few years after they were signed on!.
Be careful!. There are more businesses who make money off actors than actors making that money!. Most working actors live well below the poverty level!.
It sounds like you are interested in film!. Try working as an extra/background player to see what it's like to be a film actor!. Maybe take a screenwriting class and learn about putting together a script for a movie!. Would you be interested in directing!? Have fun, be bold and don't let anyone tell you to quit if it's what you are passionate about!.
