Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Go for it! You might find it's your passion!. There are roles for everyone, and people start at all ages and do fine!. I am in my mid 50s and got into acting less than a year ago - my son is an actor and his agent suggested I give it a try!. I started by going to a couple of workshop type classes for beginners to see how it felt and found it clicked for me!. I was then signed on by his agency, found some great teachers and have been going to classes pretty well once a week for the past 6 months or so!. I work very hard at it, there's lots of thinking and analyzing involved if you want to be good!. In the past month I took about 1/2 dozen auditions resulting in 2 short film roles, one feature film (all indies) and a TV series episode!. While that's not exactly overnite fame and fortune, it is encouraging!. More importantly, I am totally loving it and very happy!. I think that's success Www@QuestionHome@Com I'm 17 about to turn 18 and have little acting experience!.!.!. and I think it’s too late for me!.!. I’m considering applying to a performing arts school just to get a bit more experience!.!.!. I'm also considering moving to LA after this year once I’ve completed my HSC!.!.!. but I'm also afraid I have left it too late!.!. Of course, there are always a few, but it's sort of like the Lotto!. Try community theatre!.
