Here are my tips: Wear some make-up, but not too much!. Wear a solid-colored top, maybe with a collared shirt or a sweater!. Or if you do wear anything patterned, keep it pin-striped so it's not horribly noticeable!. If you decide to wear jewelry, keep it pretty basic: pearls or studs as earrings!. A pearl necklace works too!. Nothing gawdy or big!. Wear your hair in a way that it's not going to get up in your face a lot while they're taking the pictures!. Bring bobby pins with you to fix anything!. also, don't wear your hair in a ponytail!. Those are my tips! Their job is to help you feel as comfortable and knowledgeable about the shoot as possible!. But since that didn't happen for you here is my advice!.!.!.the woman above me said it all! good job!. Just be as natural and comfortable as you can!. Work WITH the photographer!. Don't just let them tell you what to do, how to pose!. Show off your personality, have fun with it!. Next time you get head shots, which will most likely be 1-2x a year since you are 14 and will grow up pretty quickly from this point, keep a good relationship with your photographer, try to find someone you can use everytime!.
