Question: In terms of money lost, what's the biggest Broadway musical flop!?
I understand The Red Shoes (1993) lost $8 million!. Has anything since beat that record!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
$8 million is a drop in the bucket, and Red Shoes' more recent rip-off Hot Feet lost the same amount in 2006 !.
Carrie was notorious, closing after five performances and losing $7 million in 1988, about $12!.5 million today!. The book Not Since Carrie by Ken Mandelbaum is a bit dated but lists some doozies!.
Big lost $10!.3 million in 1996 and The Capeman lost $11 million in 1998, but it is one of the best-selling score albums!. Taboo lost more than $10 million as well in 2003!.
Do a Google search or contact Playbill!.com for the biggest loser, but that record is beaten regularly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
