Question: Ideas for plot of play!? anything welcomed! from out there comedies, to deep dramas!!?

i'd like to write a play over the course of the next 2 years possibly for my senior project, but i can't seem to find the perfect plot idea!. it doesn't matter what time period or genre, but please, only original ideas! and what would you prefer watching as a teenager!? I've written some plays before in my spare time!.!.!.I really enjoy it!.
I think if you want to do something with a twist it would have to be a mystery!. I think teenagers respond to anything!.!.!.as long as its funny!. So if you were going to do a funny mystery!.!.!.you have to make your characters extremes, that is, they are the ultimate blonde, ultimate snot, ultimate professor, ect!. Make sure the language teases itself and is fast paced!. You don't want them falling asleep!.

Try the life of a rock star!. It has always worked for movies and I think that an on stage performance would be very interesting for the young and old!. It could be a real star or fictitious!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe a mystery thing!. Such as someone plotting a dramatic event at school or something and it goes terribly wrong!. idk!.
