I want to write a funny skit that will make the whole 8th grade at my school laugh!. I don't want it to be a skit with cheesy humor, i want people to laugh at real humor they will never forget!. Another idea is to occasionally make the audience think, "WOW!" also, you should know that when it is performed, we won't have as many props!. We are able to make ok costumes and we can use chairs and tables!. Please! I need a ton of help and ideas!Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: haha!. well i have a short one, it can be lengthened by small talk and confusion!. but actor 1: (walks on stage sits in mid air, does individual activity reading etc) actor 2: (walks towards confused) What are you doing!? actor 1: What does it look like im doing!? (beat) Im sitting on an invisible bench actor 2: oh!.!.right!. (feels around, sits) actor 3: Why are you all floating Actor 2: look around, we're sitting on an invisible bench!. Actor 1: duh!. (beat) Actor 3: Oh i get it!. Actor 4: What's going on!? Are you all magicians!? Actor 2: What are you talking about!? actor 4: how are you all floating!? actor 1: we're not!. actor 3: we're sitting on an invisible bench!. actor 4: ahhh!. is there more room!? actor 2: sure!. Actor 5: (enter happy/confident) Hey what are you all doing!? actor 1: sitting on an invisible bench Actor 5: (confused) Oh!. you mean the one i moved over there!? *all actors but #5 fall instantaneously :) i dunno something!.!.cute hahah!. Www@QuestionHome@Com Okay here is a tip that has worked for me before so try this one Get everyone who is going to be involved in the skit together!. Have each one of them think of someone they know with a weird trait (i!.e!. friends, enemies, co-workers family) you don't have to make fun of people for example maybe your dad always yells at you or getts angry you can use that as a trait!. Or amybe a teacher alwys repeats a word over and over again Have each person develop the character with that trait, making sure that they stay true to the character!.
