Question: Just some basic exercises before drama starts!.!?
I was wondering if there was any type of exercise you can do for acting just before school starts and then I'm going to the drama club!.

GREAT QUESTION! YES - THERE ARE A NUMBER OF THINGS YOU CAN DO AND AT FIRST YOU MIGHT FEEL SILLY - BUT DON'T - IT'S JUST LIKE AN ATHETE WARMING UP BEFORE PLAYING SPORTS!.
FIND A PLACE BY YOURSELF WHERE YOU CAN BE ALONE!.
SIT QUIETLY AND CLOSE YOUR EYES AND BREATHE DEEPLY IN AND OUT THROUGH YOUR MOUTH SLOWLY AT LEAST TEN TIMES!. CONCENTRATE ON JUST RELAXING YOUR MUSCLES SLOWLY FROM YOUR HEAD TO YOUR TOES!. THEN JUST ROTATE YOUR HEAD SLOWLY ALL AROUND ON YOUR NECK AND OPEN AND CLOSE YOUR MOUTH AS WIDE AND TIGHT AS IT CAN GO ABOUT 20 TIMES!. SAY THE ALAPHABET As fast and as clear as you van - THEN THE "PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE" OR ANYTHING YOU KNOW BY HEART- SONG LYRICS - ANYTHING - EXAGERATING YOUR LIPS AND TEETH IN PERFECT PRONUNCIATION!. YOU JUST WANT TO STRETCH AND WARM UP YOUR THROAT AND MOUTH!. THEN STAND UP AND STRETCH SLOWLY ALL OVER!. THEN BEND OVER AND SHAKE LIKE A RAG DOLL THEN JUMP UP AND DOWN AND DO SOME JUMPING JACKS TO GET THE BLOOD RUNNIING!. IF YOU'RE NOT IN A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN DO ALL THE JUMPING - JUST STRETCH A LOT!.
I TOLD YOU MIGHT FEEL SILLY ( TRY TO BE WHERE NO ONE CAN SEE YOU) BUT YOU REALY WILL FEEL WARMED UP , RELAXED AND ENERGIZED FOR ACTING CLASS - WHICH IN TRUTH USES EVERY MUSCLE IN YOUR BODY IN SOME WAY!.
