Position:Home>Theater & Acting> How to be a better actress ?Question: How to be a better actress !? hi I want to be a better actress and my goal is to someday be famous , I have acted in ,plays such as Into the Woods, Aladdin, Oklahoma, Pirates of Penzance and Cinderella!. I am also taking singing lessons and after that I am taking acting lessons and going to camps!. Any tips on how to become a better actress and how to start on my road to becomeing famous would be helpful so thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It sounds like you're doing great! My only advice would be to really push yourself, acting wise!. Get into some classes with a conservatory-style curriculum that will be challening!. also, it looks like you've done a lot of musicals!. Maybe consider just doing some straight plays for a while, since the focus will be on the acting!. That will give you the opportunity to dive into some really meaty roles that only doing MT won't provide!. And fit!. Just a fact, sorry!. Not stick skinny, but you can't be pudgy!. Even people like America Ferrera!. Notice they're not fat, they're just large!. Difference!. Theater famous: You're on the right track, start researching schools for the performing arts in you area, or wherever it is you want to go!. Check out what their requirements to ensure you get in! Don't try to hard, when you act, act natural, like you do in real life!. Be the person you need to be and act like you think they would in real life!.
