Piano is a great foundation for any person aspiring to be a musician!. It gives you the chance to learn how to read music without having to worry excessively about how to play the instrument!. The piano keys are clear, and the whole layout of all the notes are at your command!

There is a lot of technique involved in playing cello (how to hold the bow, where your fingers go on an unmarked fingerboard, etc) and you'd have to learn how to read sheet music at the same time!

Good luck in your musical endeavors!Www@QuestionHome@Com

piano for sure!.

both i and my cousin started out with piano and are finding that it makes our current instruments (she now plays the cello, and i the guitar) much easier!. Piano is simpler to learn, but does require a lot of concentration!. It's easy to walk away from, so make sure you are dedicated!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
