This is a very personal choice, but from my experiences, I would recommend going to a four year college in some major market for acting (e!.g!. New York or Los Angeles)!. I would major in something besides theater that interested you and minor in theater!.

While you're doing that I would take lessons at an acting studio!. Most acting teachers worth their salt can make more money teaching for themselves than as a professor at a college, so they tend to go that way!.

The advantage of going to school in a major acting market is you can audition for real work while you are in school and begin to make connections in the industry!. Plus if you get into school plays, you can invite agents and casting directors to see you!.

The biggest thins is to get your degree!. It really does open up a lot of "day job" opportunities that pay so much better, in case your acting career takes a little longer to take off than you might like!.

Believe in yourself and go for it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Go to an acting school!. I never went to college and I'm a foot into an acting school already!. Or if you think you have the gift of acting naturally, do what alot of great actors do, don't get lessons, just get an agent and audition around the town country etc!.!.!.If you believe you can do it you will!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well I would personally go to a college, major in Theatre, but also take a minor like english or business or something like that, so you can have a backup if you have problems getting your acting career off of the ground!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

An education gives you to be a more well rounded, more informed person!. Which gives you advantages as an actor (and in making your rent payments)!. It gives you optionsWww@QuestionHome@Com
