I don't know what this rgs person is going on about, but unless you're a model putting together a comp card you only need one headshot and it needs to be a very natural, honest, and up-to-date representation of what you look like!. That means a simple solid-colored top, no jewelry, minimal makeup, unelaborate hair, and you looking straight into the camera with a genuine smile!. You needn't worry about what sort of pants/skirt/whatever you're rockin down below, as nothing below your shoulders should be in the frame!. Having a headshot that depicts you in any way other than this is straight-up amateur hour!.

I'd wait until after you get the braces off, so you don't have to get new ones done next month!. And don't wear the glasses unless you're super-blind and won't be able to walk into the audition room without glasses and not be walking into walls!. Ideally, the person who walks into the audition room should look 100% identical to the person in the headshot, which means you'll need new headshots done every time you change your look (braces off, new hair style, nose job, you've aged, whatever)!. Remember, the headshot's job is just to accurately impart what you look like, not to "sell" you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you should wait until you get the braces off, that way you can get them bleached and they will look perfect! of course if you are a young person like a child or teenager, then maybe the braces would add some charm, but if you are an adult, they will only make you look childish!. also remember for what types of roles are you looking for!? youthful ones or more adult!?

also if you are going to wear your glasses for the photos, make sure that you take some with and without the glasses, and that the photographer makes sure there is no light flare or reflections of the lights bouncing off your lenses or else they will be no goodWww@QuestionHome@Com

When you get your head shots done, you should be getting more than one type of shot taken!. For example, when I got mine done, I had a "formal" set, a "business" set and a "body" set!. For the "formal" set, I wore a formal gown, jewelery, hair in an up-do, heels, etc!. For the "business" set, I wore a pair of slacks, heels, a vest (this was in the mid 90's), a blazer-type jacket, hair was down, etc!. For the "body" set, I wore a bikini!. The purpose of getting head shots done is to show the various looks that you can pull off, because casting agencies or agents are usually looking for something specific for the role they are looking to fill!. So, in some of your pictures, wear the glasses!. In some of the pictures, take the glasses off!. If at all possible, get your headshots done with and without the braces!. The braces will show that you have the ability to look younger than you are!. Ever seen Ugly Betty!? She wears braces (or wore them!.!.!.I haven't seen it lately) in the show!. you should wait until you take your braces off unless your not gonna smile because if you take them with your braces on you're just gonna have to get more headshots done because you need to show that you no longer have them!.

You should wear your glasses because a headshot is supposed to be glamorous but not so glamorous that it doesn't look like you!. Unless you wear contacts, wear your glasses!.

also, don't wear too much makeup because you don't want to look like the goofy kid trying to look older by wearing a face full of makeup!. Plus you don't want to get to the audition and have people be like, "Who are you!?" Hope I helped!Www@QuestionHome@Com
