Question: What to do at an audition for movie!?

k, so they're having auditions for a movie in my town, but i have no idea how it works!. i know that some people have agents, but then again they wouldn't put auditions on the news and headlines!. so what, do i need an agent for open auditions!?

If it is an open audition, then you don't need an agent!. If you know you fit the part (right age and gender) it will usually say!.

If it is for a musical then you might need to have a song prepared but it would say!.

Just go and be ready to fill out a paper on what you have done in the past, and read from a script they give you for the character you are trying out for!.
