Question: RSC deny admission to Hamlet!?
I've been reading that the RSC will deny admission to people who bought their tickets off of sites like ebay and seatwave!.com; saying it violates the terms and conditions of the sale, making the ticket void!.
Has anyone heard if they have been enforcing this!? I don't want to buy me a ticket, only to have them turn me away at the doorWww@QuestionHome@Com

Buying tickets from a tout is a violation of the original terms and conditions, as all tickets clearly state not for resale!.

Ebay, acts as a ticket tout!. RSC are well in their rights to deny access, other places also do this!. I know a lot of the free tickets and registered user only tickets can fall foul of this!.

My question is this though, If the ticket seller sends you the original ticket, then how are the RSC going to know!? Unless you are buying from someone who is trying to persuade you that picking up from the box office is possible!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I saw this story too!. Buy only from the RSC or a well known ticket agency!. I suspect that tickets bought on ebay would end up costing far more than the original ticket price anyway!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
