Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: it depends on what you mean by "learn to sing"!. if you want to just learn how to hit notes, it shouldnt take more than a year!. also, one of the answers above says that you are born with it!.!.!. thats kindof true!. it really helps if you are naturally gifted at singing, but almost anyone can learn to sing and hit the notes!. if you mean that you want to reach your voice's full potential, i cant give you a time limit!. you can always improve!. but just to get your voice to a point where you can sound really good, which im thinking is what you mean, it can take a long time!. you can work really hard, but it really depends on your voice and how old you are!.!.!.!. what happens is, even as a girl, your voice changes!. maybe not your speaking voice but your singing voice changes as you grow!. i used to sing really quiet and now i can belt really loud because of my practice and just the fact that my voice has been changing!. so to make a long answer short, there really is no "time limit" that you can put on learning to sing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com years i started since i was 5 now i'm 14 and i have my own group now and we're good!. when you promote yourself you should try to pro form in as much stuff as possible!. so when your a professional you can get used to it and not have stage fright and so your choreography is good to!. also you cant just decide to sing you have to have vocal talents!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Oh god, it takes years if you haven't got a natural voice!. I'd say5 or 6 months till you really start getting the hang of it!. You'll learn how to really sing at least one song, not too complicated though, if you're committed in about a month!.
