Where can I find a monologue for my high school play?

Question: Where can I find a monologue for my high school play!?

We are doing hello dolly next year and I want a monologue that isn't too awkward or weird and also appropriate for the directors!. I also have to give a copy to the directors so it has to be real!. If you can give me some or a name of a web site or book that would be great!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

See if your local library has a copy of Scenes for Young Actors!. It's a great paperback reference that includes both male & female monologues among it's selections!. My favourite of the women's is the one from The Corn is Green!.
Just make two photocopies of whichever monologue you choose; one to practice from & one for the directors!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
