Question: HOW DO I LAND MY DREAM ROLE!?
Okay, so i really want to be Sharpay!. I'm auditioning for High School Musical Onstage!. I am a talented singer, and actress!.!.!.but my dancing could use some work!. I have done seven shows with this company before!. it's for grades two through nine!.!.!. i am one of the more older ones there!.i am not the skinniest but i'm not overly obese or anything!. I have been in HIgh School Musical Onstage before but i was more of an ansemble part!. These are some of the questions i have:

1!. How can i learn to dance without paying any money or taking formal lessons from anyone!?

2!. How do i prepare for the audition

3!. What should i wear to my audition!? ( something comfy!.!.!. but still shows i've been in theater long enough to know the proper rehersal attire!.!.!. shoes,top, etc!.

4!. How do i prove i am what they want!!!

**if you could help me with this it would mean the world to me you don't even know, this is what i want to do in life (not be sharpay, but act, dance, sing)!. Yes, you can learn to dance without formal instruction!

Know the song you are singing inside and out!. Are you doing a monologue!? Know it inside and out!. You've been in it before!? Make sure you know all Sharpay's lines and practice like its goin out of town!.

lol! I find this question funny - wear athletic pants or blue jeans, comfy tennis shoes (and if possible, jazz/ballet shoes to change into), and a nice shirt (not a T) - but wear a tanktop underneath to wear for dancing!

Be yourself! Be outgoing, be so expressive that your FACE hurts after an hour!
