Question: I Want to act but theres a little situation
tbh u may think I'm dumb saying this and no I'm not Blondie!.
i want to start a new life of in the USA, problem is I'm in the UK and NOTHING exciting or big movies happen here, well anyway I'm a very qood actor i have to ad mitt, ive done 1 or 2 school plays i really want to have an AGENT i want to get into works with Disney channel!.
i've read loads stuff about it and the requirements!. I Want to start off as in extras and stuff then get little roles then main roles the problem is how am i qoinq to get all of the little things in the UK when my parents dont let me out anywhere!?
they still think im like 10!.
thats why ive thought several times to my self i want to runaway for many reasons!.
Brothers bully me constantly but not like bortherly sisterly love!.
not aloud out anywhere
parents think im still a kid
they always have a go at me
we have a big house but cant afford anything
they moan why im on the PC all the time because they wont let me out
school life sucks like hell
friends and my whole life is 2 faced
i have the biggest crush ever on nick jonas and i know i will never get him even though it is hard enough for me!.
i even get bullied at school for my name, colour, and looks!.
When i told my friends that i was going to audition to harry potter they all of a sudden wanted to be my friends!. this is getting on my nerves and i told my mum and dad that im going to runaway to the US and they said i dont think u will!.
they are right i have everything planned out but i just dont want to leave everynight i have a dream where i get my suitcase put everything in it take about ￡5k and then i leave to gatwick get on the plan go to
L!.A and i get everything sorted until they come and get me!.

WOW!. well for starters, you may not want to hear it but you are still a kid!. and that's ok!. if you have a passion for acting and that is what you want to do, that is great! running away is not the answer though!. No matter what your parents love you so do your best to cut them some slack!. Things you can do around the house to prepare yourself are:
-Start memorizing monologues and practicing them!. in the industry sometimes casting directors will want to see your range of acting so always have two different types of monologues on hand!.
-If you are a singer perfect songs that you think you are pretty good at because the more talent you have the more potential people see

Well, I am sorry that you have this fantasy, because it will never happen!. It so happens that in the UK there are impressive films and stage prodiuctions and that over there they take acting very seriously and to become an actor it takes a great deal of work and training!. You have to be practical, not fantasy-oriented, to be a success!. Start in school, taking all the drama you can, being in all the plays, and plan to go to univesity or a professional acting academy after college!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
Running away internationally takes a passport!. As a child under 16, you also need an adult to fake you through the airline - they do not take unaccompanied minors without the signature of a guardian!.
Are things so bad that you would call your local child protective services!? They would make life Hell for everyone in the family, but could place you in foster care, if they decide your family is bad enough!.
Mostly, you sound like a teen!. Anxious, angsty, felling over controlled!. Most of us grow out of that, without creating a huge crisis at home!.
Another way to go would be to try talking with your parents!. Come right out and ask, "what would it take for you to trust me more!? I want to try this, and this, and need your permission!. How can we get there!?"

sorry hon but you probably won't make it in the business!. you have to have someone to support you, take you to auditions, pay for everyday necessities, and most businesses require a parent/guardian signature for minors!. I'm 14 and i want to get into the businesses, but i've come to terms with the fact that i most likely will never be in movies, or even on tv!. the acting business is not an easy thing to survive in!. you need a strong backbone because you WILL be criticized!. you WILL be called fat or anorexic!. you WILL be rejected!. there is no way around it!. you'll have to persevere, and its going to require a lot of determination!.
