Question: When will Disney contact us!?

My daughter auditioned for the part of Macy in J!.O!.N!.A!.S!. She is 12 but looks like she's 14!. My daughter has never been in a commercial, TV show, or movie, but she is very good!. She gets home from her music lessons, runs down to the mail box, and always comes back up looking disappointed!. It hurts to see her look so sad!. When do you think Disney will contact us!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

when you say 'auditioned' do you mean that you sent in your daughters photo and resume!?
I did that to, and i haven't got an answer either!. They have probably got thousands of resumes and photos to go through, so it will probably take quite a while!.Just tell your daughter that, and when she stops thinking about it, the letter will arrive sooner then you think!. no one exept disney knows when they will contact you, but i would say that if they haven't contacted you in about a month, she hasn't been picked for the part (this is just my opinion)!. Don't wait by the mailbox!. I am sure they are auditioning other hopefuls and have not made their decision!. It may be a great while before they get back to you!. When they have made their decision, I am sure they will let every one of those who auditioned know!. There is not much you can do!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

First off, They said 14-17 which means that IS what they want!.
Second, she didn't "audition" she just sent her head shot/resume!.
Third, if they DO NOT like her FACE, or her RESUME you will NEVER hear from them!.
I'm not trying to be harsh,mean, or rude but that's "showbiz" and that's the truth!.
Disney, has plenty of people auditioning, if she's nothing special they don't want her!.
And lastly, they don't send you anything they call you, stop getting her hopes up this is what the show business requires REJECTION!. So what i'm saying is she might not get a call, but that's how it is don't set your sights so low go to other auditions for more important places that actually require talent and get some experience!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
