Question: Whats a good easy song to audition to!?

I am female and i am 18yrs!. I cant do vibrato and my vocal range isnt that high i am an alto!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If it is a musical theater audition than you should definitely use a musical song!. I am an alto1 soprano 2 Belt!. I don't know what your vocal range is or your breathe control but here are some great Alto Belt songs!.

Johnny One Note - Babes in Arms
Shy - Once upon a mattress
Happily Ever After - Once Upon a Mattress
Be A Lion - The Wiz
Show Off - The Drowsy Chaperone
Cabaret - Cabaret (if you do this make sure to include the money notes at the end in your audition)

I suggest not auditioning with a pop musical song like anything from RENT or Spring Awakening

Amazing grace traditional

what ever you imagine (the pagemaster sound track)

someday Celtic women (traditional)

I've goting in to every play that I've used one of these songs for, with the lead or co-lead role!.

I sing the ones with the higher vocal ranges one low so, I don't strain my voce!.

the best way to pick a song is to see one that uses all your good points as a singer,
