Question: Did i just get scammed or could this be for real!?
This may be long so i appreciate you reading this =)
Hi, im 14 years old and me and my mom recently heard on the radio about auditions to be on disney channel shows, so i took down the number and had my mother call!. Its called A!.C!.T!. So my mom called and we had to go down to a convention center and audition!. Agents from LA and NY were there!. The next day my mom called them and the lady said she liked me and would like to work with me so we went back down to talk to them once again!. They said that it would be a 6 month trainin session/class!. Once every 6 months 2pm-6pm!. They said the 4th and 5th classes would be auditions also and the 6th would be a final audition!. So she said everything would be $2000 dollars, and my mom said ok and paid!. They said i wouldnt be working with my agent until november!.
Was i just scammed!? It seemed believable becuz a recent success story they had was that a girl had just been cast for the hannah montana movie, so idk what to do!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You were scammed!. I am so sorry, but they are not allowed to force you take a workshop, there is more info on scams in the business located on http://actinginfo!.blogspot!.com/

basically your paying for them to find you work most likly unless your the next hanna montana it wont happen!.!.now its not your fault but your mother should have been smarter about this 2000 is alot for not an absolute thing!.!.!.on the brighter side its very sweet your mom believes your so talented shed spend 2000 bucks on you!Www@QuestionHome@Com
All the Auditions or casting calls and such that are publicly advertised are scams!. The only way to know if they are fir real is if you here about the audition from your agent!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
