Question: At what age do YOU think I should start my acting/singing career!?!
I want your opinion, because sometimes I see stars (in disney channel) that go big because they started at age 6 or 7 (Selena Gomez,Demi Lovato) but I also see the ones that get big and started at 14 or 15 (Chelsea Staub)!.!.
Well, currently I'm 13, 5'4 and 100 lbs!.
I have no idea how to start or when to!.
When do you think i should start!?
I can play the guitar and sing like a mix of Leona Lewis and Alicia Keys (i know thats TOO thick of a voice for 13 year old!.!.but what can i do)!.
also, I would like to be in the Disney Channel in my teenage years!.
Any tips are welcome! :)
pls pls pls dont think im just another kid who wants to be a celeb for money and fame!.!.I want to do what i love and live my dream!.

There isn't a right age to try to follow your dreams!. Play some local gigs, get some practice, try!. If you have a powerful voice at such a young age, that is amazing! Don't focus too hard on one goal!. It is great that you love what you do!. For right now, focus on either your acting or your music, get an agent! Good Luck!. well as long as you love doing what you are doing then you can start anytime!. I would say to start now because that way, when you are older, you can be doing bigger and better things (movies, singing, etc!.)!. also, sometimes it takes a long time to get an offer for a movie or TV show or a record deal!. You need to call around in some places and see if they can get you some names of good agents or go to your local acting theater if you have one in your area!. also,you can look in the yellow pages or white pages to call local acting places!. Another thing you can do is to listen around for casting calls!. What I mean is sometimes on the radio they give out acting place numbers, on Disney channel they give out info on if they are coming to a place near you, etc!. hi, i am also very young at the age 12 and i too want to become an actress, you should try to find agents locally and get in some classes near by as for becoming a disney star you should go out there and really look if you are very serious about acting for example GOOGLE
If you just want to focuse about mainly going for acting/singing and not really caring where you are going to end up like Disney Channel then may i recommend to go to IMTA, it is a convention where you show off your talents in front of over 300 agents/casting directors and you can eneter into either singing,acting,dancing, and modeling!.!.!.
