Question: What can I put for my acting resume!?

Can you tell me if this could be added on!?Some of these kind of sound weird!.

-Two years of ballet
-One year of chorus
-Plays violin and piano
-can raise one eyebrow
-speaks English and Tagalog
-Can speak in an English,Indian,Filipino,Chinese,or Spanish accent!.

Anything else I can add to that!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hello there! It's good to see that your getting on to doing your own Acting CV!

If you sending it off to proffesional theatres and the like unfortunately alot of them will turn down people without much in the way of previous experiences, but then again it all depends on the show, director etc!.

Your best bet for your acting resume is to make sure that SELL YOURSELF!. Your going to big yourself up every other sentence, make yourself look amazing!

I'm not sure going into detail about being able to raise one eyebrow would be very important to a director, people learn to do it and i dont know anyone that wont cast someone because they cant!

Write alot about your experience in ballet and chorus, what shows you did and what grades you did etc etc!. Say the same about violin too!

Make sure you make it clear what languages you speak, some directors love multilingual actors!

Accents too! Write them all down, i wouldnt go into much detail as one can learn an accent but listing them would show the director what you could do!

also, make sure you have the following things with you

Some portfolio pictures! (Some Proffesional theatres won't look twice at a resume without proffesional profile photos)
Your contact details!

Good luck in your audition and if you need anymore advice feel free to email me and i'll give you a helping hand =]Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have been involved in acting for a number of years, writing and acting in my own plays etc!. What would be of interest to a director (or would interest me) is:
1) 2yrs Ballet!.
2) Different languages!.
3) Chorus!.

Plus you need to say if you are confident, outgoing etc!. Hope it all works out!.

I would add more on how good you are on crying on demand, memorizing lines, how good you are at following directions, and if they ask then put down why you wanted to act in the first place!.

Hope I helped,
