1!. Dress up in nice black pants, a nice shirt!. Heels!.
2!. Make yourself seem interesting!. If they ask a question, elaborate, don't just end it at "yes" or "no"
3!. Change up the lines!. Don't make them all sound the same, and try not to say them like you think everyone else will!.
[ex!. Say the first line slower than the second, say the third line louder than the second, etc!.] you can play with tempo and volume!. it might sound stupid and fake to you, but it sounds good to everyone else!.

(i thought i sounded stupid when my acting teacher told me to do this, but i got a callback from mitchell gossett, miley cyrus' agent)

Don't be nervous! As much as you think they don't, they WANT you to do good! They WANT to find their role! Smile, act like you want to be there!.

In the interviews!.!. Sometimes the interviews you do are just for the person to see if you have a good, outgiong personality and aren't afraid to talk to new people!.
If they ask you why you want to be an actor, don't say to be famous!

Try to stand out from the others in anyways you can!. Out of the 100 people, you want to be the one they remember the most!!

And seriously try to read the side different than the others!.
"when you use finesse, you'll notice how smooth your hair is!. and so will someone else!. Silk protein finesse - the look that gets the touch!."

act that in your mind!. I guarentee you just did it like everyone else would!. PRETEND YOU'RE TALKING TO YOUR FRIEND!.

You can practice with that "commercial"!. Say it 5 times - but each time has to be different!!

The most important thing to remember is to have confidence in yourself and your acting abilities!. If you do not have confidence in yourself why would the casting director choose you!? Make the casting remember you!. Plenty of talented people will show up at the audtitions, but the one that the casting director can remember the most is the one that will get the job! Showcase what makes YOU special!. You can do this by demonstarting a unique talent that you have, or doing a twist on the script that you need to read!. Just being a good actor is not acceptable, you must be extraordinary!.

also, another mistake that many first time actors make is that they over rehearse!. If you over rehearse you will not be prepared for uncertainities in the audtion process!. You could imagine the audition a certain way, and then find out that the actual audition is very different!. Lets say you image 3 people will sit-in on the audition, then there turns out to be 5 people there that could be an uncertainty!. But if you do not over reheae you will not have such advanced mental imagery and you will be better prepared for the audition!.

1!.) today read your script over and over!. by the end of the day you will be able to understand your character
2!.) tommorrow practice in your room!. put yourself in your character's position!. [you can use dolls for other characters in the scene] use movement, facial expressions, body languange etc!.
3!.) saturday be your character!. do what your character would do in every situation of the day!. use words he/she would use, do things he/she would, etc!. this one sounds pretty extreme but trust me, it prepares you!.

and go over your lines act like it your life
3!.ask people like your mom or dad to help you run your lines
