Question: How can I speak with a British accent!?
I live in America and don't have much of an accent!. But, I always wanted to learn to speak with a British accent (not all the time, just on command)!. I'm trying out for a play at school set in England so I thought this would be a good time to learn, if possible!. Any help appreciated!. Thank you!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Which play is it!?

Of course, like in America, English accents vary!. Try watching historic dramas like TV adaptions of Austen or Bronte books!.

Enunciate!. And here's how we pronounce words which Americans pronounce differently:

decade: de-cayed= american
dehcade= english

data: dar-tar= american
day-ta= english

details: de-tails= american
