Question: Monologues for uni!?
i need 2 contrasting monologues for my uni auditions 1 has to be either Elizabethan of Jacobean and the second has to be 20th century modern!. its for BA ACTING course!. my idols are keira knightly and emma watson and i speak quite posh like them to!. Please HelpWww@QuestionHome@Com

Borrow 'The Deep Blue Sea' from a library and flick through that!.
If you don't mind doing an American accent, there's loads of great 'posh' monologues you could do, like Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf!? or Blanche in A streetcar named desire!. You could do a play by Coward, where everyone's rich!. These are mainly lightly comic and from the 1930's!.
