Normally they don't write back, but some will sometimes!. They normally will send you back a picture signed (include an envelope already addressed to you with a stamp on it - it increases your chance of getting one back!. )Www@QuestionHome@Com

You should be able to find out who their agent or manager is on the web!. If it is really a star like Idina Menzel or Kristen Chenowith they have their own websites!.

You could take a shot doing it your way!.

Actually some stars are loath to give autographs anymore because they get sold on eBay rather than kept for someone`s collection!.

I have written to authors before -- including one of America`s wealthiest and most prolific/popular authors and I did get a personal response back!.

When I one time was writing letters for a celebrity auction -- getting celebrities to send something to be auctioned off -- I got a lot of form letters back from their assistants!.

It really depends on who the star is; how old they are (I find when I am interviewing musicians the older ones -- even if they are legends -- do tend to get back to me personally more quickly than younger ones) and what their relationship is to fans!.

Once I wrote to Angelina for a legit reason and included congratulations on then-new-addition Zahara to their family and it was returned to me REFUSED but had been steamed open!. Not sure if that was an assistant or manager or if it somehow got to her and she was displeased with something!.

I did not take it personally -- only found it weird since she also could have simply had no response at all and I would have figured she was too busy and it never got to her!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
