Question: Question on having the actors born talent!. and learning!?
It's not really a common question on 'I want to be an actress"and stuff!. it's just an lesson on having the talent and learning acting!.!.
Many actors have the natural talent of acting and never went to acting school
But when people ask a question on becoming an actor on yahoo!. We usually answer go to acting school
And if a person does have real talent, and they do go to acting school, wouldn't they waste their time!?
So how can they prove they're talented actors and know when they don't need lessons just yet!?
Do they wait, and just read books on method acting and become the character!?
it's sort of complicated you know!?

some people have inherent talent, but if you are looking to never take classes, you are seriously mistaken!. all of the most talented actors have had a ton of professionally training!. "natural talent", if you can call it that, means NOTHING if you are not taught how to hone your craft and approach things correctly!. all the greats will always tell you "an actors learning is never done"!. you are taking classes your entire life and trying to improve!. if you are not willing to do this, you dont care enough and need to humble yourself!. to answer your question, NO they are not WASTING THEIR TIME going to an acting school!.!.!.!. that means they are intelligent, humble, determined, and ambitious!. you DO need lessons, everyone does!.

because i have it!.!.!. I've never gone to classes a day in my life and when i audition they're like are you suree you havent taking classes!.!. cause they think i'm good!.!.!.notto brag or anything:]
but to know if it's natural audition, or act for some family members!.!.!.!.but dont let them know you're acting until you finish!.!.!.then you'll know if you're a natural one!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

If it was you who gave MARK a thumb down, I'm confused!. He stated his thought with total validity!. "Natural Born", is a cliche that has no basis in truth, unless in the rare sense of a savant, also afflicted Autisticaly!.
I'm on this planet 64 plus years, and HOPE at least to learn at least 1 new thing every day of what's left of my life!. Not very much in the sense of education is a waste!.
Might one gain and grow into an affinity for acting or comedy!? Certainly, but to think that we come out of the womb singing a song that would get us a half time show at the Super Bowl, is ludicrous!.
PROOF,, as once stated in an abstract analogy, "is in the Pudding"!. Experience is hoped to, and assumed to lead to knowledge!. Knowledge MIGHT lead to wisdom!?!?!?Assumptions often lead to disappointment!.
Actually "DOING" is the path to proving, in any craft, job, life experience, creating self esteem, friendships, etc!.
I think "Natural Talent" is a fallacy, though obviously there are many who are BETTER at the craft than others, often defined by $$$!. That doesn't at all mean BETTER always in the sense of talent, and MOST CERTAINLY does not mean BETTER in the sense of a passion for what they do!.
Arguably, ACTING would be more a RIGHT brain thing, and/or a balance of the use of both sides of the brain!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
