Question: Help with resume please!?

Hey everyone im making my resume to get ready to send it to agents and i'm worried that its short i've really only done 3 plays and thats it no short films or commericals what is the likelyhood that agents might want to sign me!? also i was thinking about writing a short letter on why i want representation and why they should sign me but i'm not sure if thats appropriate because i know they are specific about these things!. Send out your resume even if you only have three things, but keep acting and building your resume up!. If you don't get called in for a meeting go out and do more theatre, and student films!. Agents love to see student films and commercials on resumes because it shows that you have been on set and have a taste of what it's like!. also I believe the letter you are talking about is called a cover letter!. When writing one be sure you write it to a specific person!. NEVER put "to whom it may concern!." Agents hate that and will most likely throw out your resume as soon as they see that!. Unless these plays have been professional I wouldn't waste the stamp!.
Agencies receive hundreds, thousands of resumes from kids like you and they simply are not interested!.
Agents want to sign actors with experience!.
Keep working and auditioning to build up that resume!. Audition for community theatre plays, maybe there is a dinner theatre or regional theatre near you where you can audition to get your first professional job!.
