Popular and Like are relative, subjective,, and driven by opinion!. If you read any of the WICKED questions and answers here, I suspect most say LIKE!. I am one of those who oppose the piece!.

The fact that it's essentially a Rip Off of Dorothy on her way to OZ, it does offer an alternative sense of "What If!?"

It's also been around awhile, and will never truly be considered a "Classic" piece, in my opinion at least, though I imagine it will endure a fair run in touring eventually!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Everywhere you can find people who absolutely love Wicked the musical! Many people like it, but you've probably only found the ones on the negative end of the spectrum!.

Our eighth grade went to wicked this year!. As far as I found out, almost every one liked it!. There was one boy who I talked to who had said that it wasn't quite what he expected!. It's hard to say whether or not its popular, because it's completely based on opinion!. As far as ticket sales, I would have to say a lot of people go to see it!. I have seen it three times and I absolutely loved it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, WICKED is considered a popular play, however, I have not seen it myself!. It was playing when I was in Europe 2yrs ago before it reached the US & it was very popular there!. Perhaps, others who have seen it can give U more insight avout the play!. :-oWww@QuestionHome@Com
