get it done by a professional!. Ask for a headshot, and make the backround designed, not plain!. Maybe your backround could be a stage, or just wavy colors, Dont use the American flag! Here's why, it is SO detailed and wavy, that your face will not be the centerpiece!. Try different outfits, bring at least 3 or 4, your going to be sending them more then one head shot!. Try curly, or straightened hair!. If you wear eyeliner thats fine!. Try abercrombie outfits!. Or other really nice clothing!. Cut down on the makeup, dont over do it!. Try lip gloss, not lipstick!. Try some blush!. Just remember to not use too much!. I hope this helps! Tell me how it goes!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Do you have a coach or acting instructor to help you!? Your headshot(s) should represent the roles you will be cast in!. These are not model shots!. It's about you, your character!. Find o ut how others see you - what roles can they see you playing!? Then you dress to suggest those roles (just suggest - in other words, if people can see you playing a judge, you might wear a suit in a photo, but not a judge's robe!. That's going too far!.) Most people do several looks!. Go with your strengths!. also, most importantly, make sure that you can and will look like your photo when you show up to the audition!. Auditioners HATE it when the person in the room does not resemble the person in the photo!.
Good luck in your career!. It's a fun business, with so many twists and turns you will never be bored!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i would get it professionally done!. professionals will know how to position you and know what lighting suits you!.

make-up: first pick your best feature on your face and highlight it so it pops out in the picture!. with everything else go easy!. a little goes a long way!.

clothes: in headshots only your shirt will show so bring a bunch of different style shirts in a bunch of different colors!. for example a black shirt, a white shirt, a green shirt, etc!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
