You absolutely need to continue taking classes!. Training never ends!. Working actors are always making new discoveries about their work and in fact most work with acting coaches for their scenes before heading to set to shoot!.

As for getting a scholarship!? It's extremely rare!. See, colleges and acting studios don't have to bribe people to be actors!. Actors (very melodramatically) beg to be trained!. They don't have to give away training!. There are some out there, but it's extrememly competitive so hopefully you've not only maintained a 4!.7 GPA but you've been Mother Theresa and travelled to far off nations to take care of the poor and you've started a non-profit in your spare time!. You truly have to be xsomething spectacular to earn a scholarship these days!. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try, you never know!.!.!. you could get lucky!.

You will be at a significant disadvantage if you don't train!. Especially if HS classes are your only experience!. You need to go to an acting studio!. It's a whole different experience!. You can always offer a trade of services!. Clean the office or do their filing and answer phones for a few hours before class in exchange for free classes and see if they go for it!. You'll never know what you can accomplish if you don't try and if you want it bad enough you'll do anything within your means!.

good luck,

Absolutely!. High school classes can be a fine introduction and a fun elective, but outside schools, especially conservatories are really where you're be pushed and get professional level training!. If you're looking at colleges, check out BFA programs and then of course scholarships and grants!. What kinds of scholarships there are out there(need based vs!. merit based) is something to talk with with your school guidance counselor!. There are also many books on finding scholarships for college!.

also check out independant conservatories in your area!. Some may be affiliated with professional theatres, so check into those as well!. Some of these places may offer work study or financial aid!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe if you performed for local theaters there could be some type of way of receiving a scholarship!. More than likely there are not a lot of them out there, but if you are a great performer then someone will identify you!. Just continue to perform where people can see your talent!. The more you perform in public, the better the chance of succeeding in the acting field!.

If you want to continue with acting, then yes, you will need to take classes!. Unless you just want to act casually in local community theater productions!. Then, you don't need to do much!. As for getting a full scholarship, I wish you luck with that!. Acting schools are some of the hardest schools to get into in the country!. Getting a full scholarship is practically unheard of!. Good luck with your career!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes yes yes yes yes yes!. I can't say it enough!!!! To become an actor you NEED to continue classes on acting after
highschool!!! My advice is this: get an agent, go to college and get a degree in acting or theater!. Then after, I would say!.!. Four years of college, go to auditions!. This site has great auditions!!!: Http://www!.castingaudition!.com
