I dont know exactly what your question is here!? if you are just looking for any "good-paying job", definitely don't go the performance route, most of us in this business consider it the exact opposite of "good-paying"!. what are you interested in!? what are you going to college for!?
if you are truly interested in those fields just know that its a struggle and a very humble salary!.
if you are asking about a 2nd job while pursuing these avenues, many wait tables or bartend which can be fairly lucrative!. but you can get more creative, with things like temping, web design, nannying, teaching, there are lots of possibilities!.
