As a director I look for someone who has interesting looks (not necessarily beautiful or handsome), who
has spunk, thinks on their feet, energetic, has experience and is smart!. Someone who reads well!.
Someone who will bring a special something to the role and the show!. Of course, talent is important but example: even if the actor is not a dancer, if they try to dance audition, even if it is bad and they have a great attitude, I would probably cast them!.Friendly is a plus!.!.!.no one want to work with a diva!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In my experience, casting directors look for confidence!. If you go into an audition confident, you're bound to catch the directors eye!. Don't show that you're nervous!. The directors look for people who are right for the role, but also who they'd like most to work with!. So yes, directors like friendly people!. If you go into an audition ill, don't use that as excuse!. If you're late, also, don't give a lengthily excuse!. Just make up for your tardiness by giving it your all!. That's what directors look for the most in prospective actors!. also, if you don't get a role, don't think that it's because you're not good enough or that you don't have talent!. It may just be that you weren't right for any of the roles that were offered or that you wanted!. Don't get discouraged!. Persevere and you will prevail!Www@QuestionHome@Com

When you audition, the casting people are looking for someone who will fill the role they are looking for!. They have to see if your true personality shines and if you can portray the role they want!. If you ASK for a solo or main role, chances are you won't get one because you probably think you are better than you really are!. I would say most casting directors like people that are friendly!Www@QuestionHome@Com

depends on the play really!.!.!.say u were auditioning for High School Musical, if u wanted the part of Sharpay then u would have to be mean and stuck up but if you want Gabriella then you would have to be sweet and nice!. all depends on the play really, and how well you can act!.!.!.or sing and dance if its a musical!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
