Question: Aren't You Just Piss Off, At The People Who Say They Love Acting, But Just Really Want To Be Famous!?

Half of the people just want to be famous, and are doing it for the wrong reasons, and it just pisses me off, how they are asking such stupid questions, like "How can I become famous!?", or " How can I become a Disney Channel Star!?"!. I'm so pissed off, and seriouslly, people like these are wasting my time, and thiers!. What do you think!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

i so agree!! i hate it more when people who have no experience or training want to be an actress because they say they love it!?!? if they have no experience or training how do they know they love it!?!? you have to go deep into acting and seriously find yourself and your character to truly understand the passion you have for it

people that have no clue what acting really is think they are in love with it when they only want the perks that come with making it "BIG" they dont understand that acting is reacting and that acting is something so deep that it can truly test you and make you feel emotions youve never felt before!. people that only want fame will never be able to realize that feeling of not being yourself any more and being free to live a different life for a short while to you bring your mind back to reality

actors must have a passion for being who they are not but at the same time being completly truthful to themselves acting is sometimes confusing and inspirational and heartbreaking and hilarious as long as you are willing to take your character the places you believe they should be taken once you believe your character others will and once you forget you are acting in front of critical people and just believe this is reality the audience will be drawn into and lost in the scene!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and that is something fame cant give you that is something only passion drive and true emotion can give you and if you are interested in fame you tend to overlook important things like that

you can tell who just want to be famous too becuase like you said, they'll just be like how can i be famous or how can i become a star instead of saying how can i become an actor/actress!. If you're going to act proffesionaly don't do it just for the fame!. It kind of makes you question like do you even know what is involved with acting!?!? It's not just all you see with miley and zac and vanessa and all them it's not all glamour and glitz!. It definitely pisses me off too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love acting, in fact, I've been in 4 performances in my local theatre's (Canadian Spelling BTW) "Young Company," which is for actors aged 13 - 18!. We do very professional, shows, with lighting, sound, the works!. The shows are even 1 - 1!.5 hrs in length, AND we have to do a formal audition and application!

After being a part of this group, I feel I'd rather take a career in professional stage acting then in movies, or TV!.

I think you might just have something against people who actually just love acting!. It's a pretty bold statement to say that 50% of all small time actors want to be famous!. Only a few of the people in this group (About 30 different people over 3 years, some comming back for multiple years) actually want to be 'famous' on the level of a 'Disney Channel Star!.'Www@QuestionHome@Com

Every actor wants to be famous!. Maybe we aren't foolish or young enough to say it, maybe we have simpler dreams than pulling in six- or seven-figure salaries from our art, but at their root, every actor wants that stab of glory!. How could we not!? We choose an art form that is entirely about people - telling their stories, becoming them, entertaining them!. If we aren't out there being noticed, then we aren't in front of people telling stories, and we aren't doing our jobs!. It's ridiculous to stand in front of people as a career or major hobby and say you aren't doing it, at least in part, for the atention!. If you really didn't care, you could meet with friends and read scenes alone in your basement much more easily than going to the trouble of performing!.

However, yes, it is irritating when people ask those questions!. I wish they would read the answers given to the 900 other people that asked identical questions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I agree!. I want to be famous, sure!. But I only want to be famous if I'm good enough to be famous!. I love acting!. the only other thing in my life that compares to the way I feel about acting is the way I feel about music!. and even then I am performing!. It's the only time I feel completely free!. Only when I am on stage do I feel complete!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes totally i act and i had a friend just like that!!i put a video of her on you tube and then she said that she thought she was so good and she went and auditioned for a play and the director didn't even ask for a callback!!! i felt kinda bad for her and then id didn'tWww@QuestionHome@Com

No, because they'll get into the industry and be absolutely f!.cked by it!. The actors that want it because they love acting have the stamina and the courage and the talent to actually make it!. In all honesty, I find those other people utterly amusing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
