Question: Ohh I need bad advise!.!.!?
Ok so, im reallly reallly nervouse for the starting of school!. Im doing chior, which is an everyday class, and theatre, which is musicle plays that are about 1 hr each that we rehearse and stuff!.!. and better yet, MY VOICE IS CHANGING!! And i cant sing because its like im losing my voice D:!!! How do i tell my chior and theatre teachers!? !.!. I mean theyre both male!.!. so it wont be as emberrassing!. is this part of puberty!? Im turning 14 in august!. and I wanna know if not being able to sing well in the process of my voice changing is normal!. All my friends say my voice has changed but im really nervouse and i dont know what to do!.!. i dont want to emberrase myself! !Www@QuestionHome@Com

Of course this is normal! You really have nothing to be embarrassed right now!. Right now, I'm going through puberty and much like you, I have a smaller ranger than just a few months ago! Still, it'll turn out fine!. My choir teacher is fine with it, so I'm sure yours will be too!
FYI to the guy who said he has a 7 octave range: either you're full of BS, or you really don't know what an octave is!. An octave is an 8 note scale from A to A; B to B; C to C; etc!. A 7 octave range would be 56 notes!. There are only 88 notes on a piano!. What you're saying is that you can sing nearly 2/3 of all notes on a piano!. That's insane!. In fact, the world record for largest male range is only 6 octaves!. Are you saying you actually broke a world record!? Check your music vocabulary!Www@QuestionHome@Com
ha!.!.There is No Reason to be Nervous at all kid!. This is apart of life!.!.!.I went through teh same thing back when iw as in middle school!.!.!.i couldn't sing at all i was all scratchy!.!.!.!.!.
Its normal!. YOUR NOT GOING TO EMBRASS your self if you feel tha tbad then just take your teacheR in private and tell them that your not going to be able to sing because your voice is changing!.!.!.

Don't over practice out of fear because you may make yourself hoarse!.
Tell your teachers if you are concerned!. They are not there to embarass you!. They can work with you on this!.

I think you should talk to your teachers!. Since they are men they would understand!. I asked my brother and said that not being able to sing well during purberty is normal!. Have fun in your classes!Www@QuestionHome@Com
It is very normal to have a small range of notes during puberty!. I've been singing my whole life and I had some problems with my voice when I was going through puberty!. I'm 16 now and I have a 7 octave range!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
