Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Do most successful actors start at an early age?Question: Do most successful actors start at an early age!? Is it very hard work!? What are their lives like!? How long would it take until somebody gets their big break!? What would you say to somebody in their twenties who would like to start out!? Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: 1!. it is VERY hard work getting to the top!. 2!. you have to dedicate your life to it!. I was in hsm on stage and we worked far it to the night (10pm) were there since 9AM!! They live in dance acting and singing studios 24/7 3!. It could take YEARS to get a big brake but it may also never come at all!. 4!. doesent hurt to try but please say you have some traning!! if its your dream work hard at it !.!.!.if its not try doing smaller stuff like community theater!. i hope i helped and follow your dreams :)Www@QuestionHome@Com well first of lately alot of the actors do start at a young age espaially the disney channel actors they have started at around 12 13 14 etc!.!. early teen ages!. im sure its very hard work to make it to where most of themm are ive been to auditions and castings and its extreamly hard because there is just SOOOO much talent out there!. and i would say that its okay to startknow maybe try some theater i do theater at a local theater it gives a great start do classes lessons plays anything to add on to your resume!.!. then you get head shots ect!. and you start auditioning!. (: hope this helps -amberWww@QuestionHome@Com johnny depp didnt start til he was in his twenties and just look what a great actor he is now!! it all just depends sometimes starting too young makes you a big flop when you get older but i think starting at like age 15 and working up is a good age to get into hard core acting like for major roles in movies and such and it ussually takes years to get into the buiness and most just give up by then but really i think whatever age is great to start there are roles for all sizes and ages!!Www@QuestionHome@Com Usually actors or actresses tend to start out at a fairly young age!.
