Fiyero is taken by the Wizard's guards to a field and put up on poles!. It is implied that they torture him for information!. Meanwhile, at Kiamo Ko, Elphaba frantically searches for a spell to save him in the Grimmerie but thinks she has failed!.

No Good Deed (beginning lyrics):

Elphaba wants to save him since he saved her!. The guards take him away and Elphaba goes to one of his castles where she sings "No Good Deed"!. During the begining of this song, she is chanting a spell which changes Fiyero into a scarecrow, which saved his life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

When Elphaba is sing the chanting part of "No Good Deed" it is actually part of a spell to help save Fiyero!. It helps him live, but only by turning him into the Scarecrow!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well galinda and elphaba got into a big fight then the guards + fieryo he tried to save elphaba then the guards put him on a post then elphaba started chanting so he wouldnt die (no good deed)Www@QuestionHome@Com
