Don't listen to them!. They are making a High School Musical 4, they haven't written a script for it yet, but they have decided to have a fourth installment of High School Musical!. Even Ashley Tisdale even says in her interviews that she has heard they are making a new movie, but the original cast will not be in it, because they have other projects and they have moved on from High School Musical!. They are casting completely new people!.!.

It is not PLANNED in a written in stone sense, and the DISNEY machine might have buckets of $$$ but even they know when to let it go, and move on!.
