Question: I want to be an actress how can I do it!.!?
I live in Orlando Florida and I'm a 13 year old girl!. I would love to become a actress because it is my passion!. I am not sure how I can get started because I can not seem to find any open roll calls in orlando!. I also can not find anything that will take somebody who has not acting experience other than musical theatre in middle school!. If anybody has any information I would be greatful!. I also do not have a resume or a picture other than very formal or school pictures will they work!. Thank youWww@QuestionHome@Com

I would suggest go the professional way!. Like Matt Damon and many more A-List actors/actresses!. They all went to top notch schools and gained very good acting skills!. For example, Matt Damon, Natalie Portman, Edward Norton, Julia Stiles, Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones, Dolph Lundgren, James Woods, are all some of the brightest celebrities and most attended ivy league schools!
All these kids you see in the shows OC, Gossip Girl, Dawson's Creek, etc!.!.!. Are all kids that got hook ups and usually end up having only 1 big acting contract!. Eventually, their career falls!.
Now I'm not saying you have to go to an Ivy League school, I'm saying go to a good recognized school, preferably in the top 125 best universities and apply as a theater major!. Not only will you be a prosperous actress, but also an educated one! And who knows, you may even change your mind about acting, you may gain a passion for something else in the process, something that can help the world!

to get experience just start out in local theatre productions
i'm absolutely positive that there are multiple theatre companies where you live because they're EVERYWHERE!.
community theatre doesn't usually require headshots, but if you want to do film or broadway you're going to need real professional pictures taken by a photographer other than school pictures!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
